Acceleration: Part One | Bible in a Year

A1 is a yearlong educational experience that equips Mercy Street Church members to study, know, obey, and teach God’s word. This happens by engaging in intensive Bible reading, gathering monthly to learn the Bible’s contexts and construction, and being provided with tools to understand and study the Bible.

Participants will reap the following benefits from the program:
- Read the entire Bible
- Know the Big Story of Scripture
- Know how the distinct “parts” of the Bible fit together
- Know how to study each “part” intentionally
- Acquire and read sections of 30 Days to Understanding the Bible

course registration

Registration closes December 31st.

Class content will be sent electronically by January 7th, when books will be available for pick up. Sessions will be on the third Sunday of every month, with a few exceptions and the summer “off” aside from continued reading.

a1 Reading Plan

Daily reading will be required; however, there will be built in time to catch up. Also, community and accountability are integral aspects of the program, so you won’t be doing this alone. Moreover, the return on your investment will be both immediately felt and exponentially grown into the future. Click the button below to view a sample of the reading plan for the course.
